Your mom always said breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Guess what? Mom was right and probably right about a lot of other things, but that’s another post.
Waking up 10 minutes earlier to do a mini yoga session and make a quick smoothie will change the momentum of your day from sluggish and cursing everyone with a smile to motivated and ready to conquer the day!
So get out your blender preferably a ninja or vitamix, these are absolutely worth the investment, and these delicious ingredients.
- ½ cup of frozen fruit (I use a berry blend of blackberries, strawberries & blueberries)
- ½ cup Greek yogurt (if you want it a little sweeter you can do vanilla Greek yogurt)
- ½ tray of ice cubes
- ½ tbsp of berry flaxseed (this and the macro greens make this a super smoothie)
- 1 tsp of macro greens
- ¼ cup of Pom juice
- Blend all ingredients together and pour into glass or travel tumbler to enjoy on the go!
